Chicken and veggie stew
This healthy meal is a good source of protein and the veggies provide Vit A and B vitamins for your baby's growth.
1 medium potato, peeled and chopped
60g skinless chicken breast, chopped
1 small carrot, peeled and sliced
2 pieces of cauliflower
150ml water or breast/formula milk
Place the vegetables and chicken in a pot with the water or milk. Bring to the boil, cover, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes until the vegetables and chicken are soft.
Puree in a food processor or mash until smooth.
You can add extra milk or water to make it thinner if you wish. Do not add salt, babies don't need it.
Makes 4 portions that you can keep for 24 hours in the fridge. Or you can freeze it for up to 4 weeks.
